Author Biography
Ana Vásquez Colmenares Guzmán ha sido titular de la Secretaría de las Mujeres de Oaxaca y secretaria de las Culturas y Artes de ese mismo estado. Profesora del itam por 17 años, universidad donde se graduó de la licenciatura en Ciencias Políticas. Eterna estudiante y aprendiz, cursó, becada por las fundaciones Ford MacArthur y Fulbright, dos maestrías en la Universidad de Columbia en Nueva York y más recientemente se graduó de las maestrías en Género, Derecho y Procesal Penal por el Centro de Estudios de Posgrado, así como la de Administración Pública y Gobierno por la Benemérita Universidad de Oaxaca.
Ha cursado los diplomados de Violencia Familiar y Derechos (UNAM), Prevención de las Violencias y Fortalecimiento de la Seguridad Ciudadana de la Fundación Slim; Hombres Agresores (IBERO), Nuevas Masculinidades (TEPJF), Género e Interculturalidad (UABJO), Prevención Integral y Control Inteligente de la Violencia y el Delito con Perspectiva de Género (SESMSP), Historia de la Teoría Feminista (Universidad de Coruña), Políticas Públicas con Perspectiva de Género (UNIVAS), Acoso y Hostigamiento Sexual (CIDE).
