Chris Lorenz es desde 2013 senior research fellow en la Universidad Ruhr en Bochum, y anteriormente ha sido profesor de Filosofïa de la Historia en la Universidad de Leiden y en la Universidad Libre en Amsterdam. Entre sus publicaciones de los últimos años cabe mencionar el libro: Konstruktion der Vergangenheit.
