Author Biography
Jairo Alberto Moreno Carrillo nació en Armenia (Colombia) el 22 de junio de 1.969, cursó sus estudios de primaria y bachillerato en el colegio franciscano San Luis Rey de la misma ciudad; y se graduó como médico cirujano de la universidad de Caldas en el año 1.992. Desde niño se inclinó a la escritura de cuentos y poesía satírica, y en su adolescencia, descubrió en la lectura, una de sus más grandes pasiones. Empezó sus estudios musicales en la facultad de bellas artes de la universidad del Quindío y los continuó en la corporación musical Palo Santo de Calarcá. Fundador y compositor de las agrupaciones AKASH y EXÉRESIS, ha logrado reconocimiento dentro de la escena del Rock nacional y latinoamericano, recibiendo el título de Alferez, otorgado por la comunidad franciscana del colegio San Luis Rey, como prominente egresado. En el 2.012 el portal www.fortindelcaballero.com a través de los premios Rock latino américa, le otorgó un reconocimiento por su trayectoria y aporte al fortalecimiento del rock colombiano, después de más de 20 años como autor, compositor e interprete del género. "El vástago", es su primera obra literaria. Con ella explora el mundo de la novela de ficción. Una reflexión terrorífica sobre el papel del ser humano en el universo.
