Author Biography
Gloria Corrons nació en Barcelona, estudió la Carrera de Piano en el Conservatorio del Liceo, y Diseño Textil y Dibujo en la Escuela de Arte Suntuarias Massana. Aficionada desde niña a la literatura ha escrito numerosos relatos breves, poesías, ensayos, artículos y entrevistas. Fue ganadora del premio Viola en castellano en los X JUEGOS FLORALES del año 1992 celebrados en Sant Cugat del Valles con el tema Trascendencia y obtuvo tres accésit de narrativa por dos historias cortas: UN PASEO CON MI PADRE ANTES DE NACER y EL PÁJARO y dos poesías: CARTAS y UNA POESÍA DEDICADA A MI PADRE. En el año 1994 ganó una Mención especial en los II JUEGOS FLORALES de la localidad de la Floresta por el escrito en prosa titulado LA MEVA FILLA. En el año 2005 ganó el Segundo Premio del I CERTAMEN DE RELATOS DE CIENCIA-FICCIÓN Y FANTASÍA 'REALIDADES ETÉREAS' organizado por la Delegación de Juventud del Ayuntamiento de Arcos de la Frontera por el relato titulado 'ELLA'. Ha escrito también varias novelas. Una de ellas, titulada HISTORIAS EN EL AIRE consistente en 100 relatos imaginarios sobre fondo histórico que comienzan en la Prehistoria y acaban en el siglo veintiuno, fue traducida al alemán y seleccionada en el año 2008 para aparecer periódicamente en el ALMANACH deuschprachiger Schriftsteller ARTZË patrocinado por el colectivo médico de Alemania, con el título IN DER WINDGESHRIEBEN .
