The Left Side of the Sun sheds light on that past and its impact on its protagonist's life and career. On the streets of Tokyo, the young Kimitake discovers both ambition and desire. Cristian Lagunas (Metepec, 1994) es maestro en Estudios Latinoamericanos por la UNAM. Su primer libro, Encuéntrame afuera, fue acreedor del Premio, Nacional de Cuento Joven Comala 2020. Ha recibido, entre otras, las becas de narrativa de la Fundación para las Letras Mexicanas y del Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes. Actualmente vive en la Ciudad de México.
