La razon es fria, pero ve claro; darle calor y no ofuscar su claridad; las pasiones son ciegas, pero dan fuerza; darles direccion y aprovecharse de su fuerza. El entendimiento sometido a la verdad, la voluntad sometida a la moral, las pasiones sometidas al entendimiento y a la voluntad, y todo ilustrado, dirigido, elevado por la religion: he aqui el hombre completo, el hombre por excelencia.
