Author Biography
Enrique Del Risco Arrocha (La Habana, 1967). Graduado de Licenciatura en Historia de Cuba (Universidad de La Habana, 1990) y de Doctor en Literatura Latinoamericana (New York University, 2005). Su tesis de doctorado fue publicada en forma de libro con el título de Elogio de la levedad. Mitos nacionales cubanos y sus reescrituras literarias en el siglo XX (Madrid, 2008). Coeditó la antología Pequeñas resistencias 4: Antología del Nuevo Cuento Norteamericano y Caribeño (Madrid, 2005). Es autor de libros de narrativa como Pérdida y recuperación de la inocencia (La Habana, 1994), Lágrimas de cocodrilo (Cádiz, 1998), Leve Historia de Cuba (Los Ángeles, 2007), ¿Qué pensarán de nosotros en Japón? (Sevilla, 2008, V Premio Iberoamericano Cortes de Cádiz) y Siempre nos quedará Madrid (Nueva York, 2012).
