Su trayectoria profesional y académica se ha desarrollado en Barcelona, la Universidad de Oxford, el European Molecular Biology Laboratory de Heidelberg, la Universidad de Innsbruck, y en el Cold Spring Harbour Laboratory de Nueva York.
