Before retiring in 2001, he served as dean of students at Southern Nazarene University and as vice president for student affairs and vice president for Institutional Advancement at Eastern Nazarene College. Tom lives in Oklahoma with his wife, Madelyn; and teaches a growing class of adults at their church in Bethany, Oklahoma.
