Author Biography
Javier Royo Espallargas (Javirroyo) nació el 24 de enero de 1972 en Zaragoza. En los años noventa se forma como diseñador gráfico e ilustrador en Bilbao y Orléans (Francia), época donde empieza a colaborar en diferentes fanzines. En 1994 nace su personaje más conocido, La Cebolla Asesina. En 2004 participa en el equipo de redacción y como autor de El Virus Mutante, un semanario de humor gráfico junto a Forges, Gallego y Rey, El Roto, o Peridis entre otros. Ha ilustrado para editoriales como Edelvives, Santillana o Planeta y para publicaciones como Interviú, El País, el magazine Visual o El Semanal, ilustrando a Juanjo Millás. Es el creador de la marca de vinilos decorativos Chispum, en la que colabora como autor. Sus diseños e ilustraciones se distribuyen en Europa, Estados Unidos, Canadá, Japón, Corea e Iberoamérica. Fundador, editor y autor de El Estafador, la publicación semanal de humor gráfico online en lengua española más conocida, con colaboradores de todo el mundo.
