She is Governor of the Pensions Policy Institute and author of Migration, Ageing and the Environment for the UK government Foresight Programme on Global Migration. She is also the Director of the Royal Institute, London. Sarah is the author and editor of several books including Ageing Societies: Myths, Challenges and Opportunities (Hodder Arnold, 2006); the International Handbook of Ageing and Public Policy (Edward Elgar, 2014); and How Population Change will Transform our World (OUP, 2016). She is the founding co-editor of the Journal of Population Ageing (Springer).
