Raquel Díaz Reguera es ilustradora. Se licenció en Bellas Artes, Diseño gráfico e Ilustración digital en la Universidad de Sevilla. A pesar de sus estudios en el campo del arte, su vida profesional la llevó a empezar en el mundo de la música en Madrid, escribiendo y componiendo canciones para otros músicos. Desde hace unos pocos años comenzó a escribir y a ilustrar sus propios libros infantiles y para adultos. Su carrera como autora y ilustrador ha sido meteórica, en los dos últimos años ha publicado más de 10 álbumes con diferentes editoriales: ¿Hay algo más aburrida que ser una princesa rosa?, con Thule en 2010 y Un amor tan grande con Imaginarium. En el año 2011 publicó, también con Thule, Catálogo de besos y El monumento a la cometa. Ha sido galardonada con el premio Tombatossals de álbum ilustrado.
