ITZKOFF has been involved with education and the schools for almost 40 years--as a teacher in public schools, curriculum coordinator, Director of the Smith College Campus School, and Professor of Education at Hunter College and at Smith College since 1965. He is the author of 13 books on educational theory, reading, music, philosophy, evolutionary theory, and the science of intelligence.
