Vanesa Pérez-Sauquillo (Madrid, 1978) es poeta, autora de Literatura Infantil y Juvenil y traductora. Es licenciada en Filología Hispánica por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, donde también obtuvo el Diploma de Estudios Avanzados en Literatura Francesa. Cursó un año de Filología en la Nouvelle Sorbonne de París, y en la Universidad de Alcalá realizó el Máster en Edición. Ha sido editora ejecutiva de Alfaguara Infantil y Juvenil hasta 2010. Actualmente sigue vinculada al mundo de la edición de forma independiente. Imparte el módulo de edición infantil en el máster de la Universidad Complutense y Santillana, realiza talleres de poesía y de cuento, hace encuentros en colegios e institutos y sesiones de cuentacuentos. A lo largo de su trayectoria ha recibido varios galardones entre los que se cuenta el Premio Ojo Crítico de Radio Nacional. Sus poemas han sido incluidos en numerosas antologías de poesía (en Hiperión, Castalia, el Instituto Cervantes, la universidad de Manchester, de Milán) y también en libros de texto en España y en Brasil.
