Ainhoa was born miraculously in La Paz, Bolivia, after her mother, Amanda, died in a so-called para-police attack. She grew up in Cuba, and in 1988, at the age of twenty-one, set on an initiation journey, the Basque Country as her first destination to see the homeland of her father, Manex. Amid repressive conflict, she meets Josune, an engaged journalist, and her group of friends. When Josune's fiancé dies of a heroine overdose, she decides to accompany Ainhoa on her journey, all the way to Beirut, then Kabul, and eventually Marseille. These are the last years of the Cold War, and they will both enter the dark world of drug-trafficking rings and their close ties to political plots.Author Biography
Susanna Martín (Barcelona, 1976) es una de las autoras de cómic más relevantes del panorama español. En 2019 publicó su primera novela gráfica en solitario, Residencia de estudiantes, a la que habían precedido, entre otras, La paradoja de Fermi (2018, junto a Miguel Á. Giner Bou) y Annemarie (2019, junto a María Castrejón).
Harkaitz Cano (Lasarte-Oria, 1975) es escritor, poeta y guionista. Ha sido galardonado por tres veces con el Premio Euskadi de Literatura y otras tantas con el de la Crítica. Su obra ha sido traducida a una docena de lenguas. Asimismo, ha traducido al euskera a autores como Sylvia Plath, Anne Sexton, Hanif Kureishi, Raymond Carver o Allen Ginsberg. Fermin Muguruza (Irún, 1963) es, entre muchas cosas, músico y director de cine, y desde luego una de las figuras más influyentes y carismáticas del panorama cultural vasco. Junto a su hermano Iñigo, en 1984 fundó Kortatu. Su evolución musical desde entonces ha sido imparable, tanto con las bandas Kortatu y Negu Gorriak como también en solitario, abrazando la creación en euskera y girando incansablemente por todo el mundo.
