But I was recommended by my brother to read this collection of short stories. He stated that this will change my perception over horror stories. So, I started reading B.E.K. with a bit of 'fear' in my heart, because I was not quite sure that I will enjoy this reading. After finishing the first story (The Boy at the Door), I wasn't even aware that this book has managed to keep me so hooked. The second story was even more amazing. I ended by reading the whole book without taking any break. I noticed one common thing in all these stories: the intrigue is so well crafted, that will raise the interest of the reader to an unusual point. The fact that the action of these stories is fast paced adds even more reading pleasure.
