Author Biography
Kerstin Lindquist is an award-winning broadcast news journalist and host at the leading home shopping channel, QVC. She started her career in network news working for local affiliates of NBC, Fox, and ABC. Kerstin was awarded four Emmys for her reporting including, most notably, one for a series of previously unauthorized interviews with young military men stationed in Guantanamo Bay.When her children were born in 2009, Kerstin started to write a blog as the first local news anchor in San Diego to request double maternity leave. Her weekly accounts documenting her experiences as a first-time mother to two non-biological daughters of the same age allowed her to continue to connect to her viewers while off the air.
