La necesidad de ganarse la vida trabajando es básica. No es un castigo ni una maldición divina sino una forma de desarrollo personal en el camino de la Evolución. Hacia más y mejor. Para ello, la naturaleza nos ha dado capacidades y habilidades. Cada un@ tiene que desarrollar aquéllas para las que está dotad@ y hacia las que tiene inclinación. De este modo será mucho más productiv@ y disfrutará más que si se esfuerza en ir contra su naturaleza.. El esfuerzo no se cuenta cuando haces lo que te gusta y tu productividad y creatividad son mucho mayores.
El pleno empleo es la situación que ofrece la máxima productividad.
En mi libro "Irresistible" puedes ver cómo nociones -frecuentemente erróneas- que tenemos grabadas en el inconsciente determinan nuestras ideas y actos sin que lo sepamos. La noción de escasez es la mayor desgracia. Cierto que millones mueren de hambre pero hoy somos 7.700 M a la mesa, triple que en 1950 y si hay miseria es a causa de que, sin saberlo, esas sociedades hacen todo lo posible para que se realice esa escasez que está impresa en sus cabezas. La naturaleza es abundante y continúa sin parar de crear más y mejor vida.
Desde luego, si en algo la intervención en la economía está justificada, es en asegurar que el pueblo pueda ganarse la vida trabajando. Ningún país avanzado, aunque se proclame liberal, ha abandonado esta cuestión al azar o al funcionamiento del mercado. En los países más atrasados es donde menos empleo se crea y donde la noción de escasez está más implantada aunque resulta difícil creer que haya ninguna divinidad que pueda complacerse en tu miseria y en que no puedas desarrollar toda la capacidad que te dio al venir al mundo. Todo en la naturaleza busca su crecimiento.
Así he ido recogiendo medidas que se han puesto en práctica con éxito en diferentes países y con el mínimo soporte teórico, las presento aquí. Casi ninguna se me ha ocurrido a mí y, aunque así fuera, no me siento su propietario sino el encargado de transmitirla. Desde muy niño siento pasión por toda la Economía y por el Crecimiento y disfruto con eso de tal modo que, en más de un caso, se han debido preguntar si tenían que pagarme por ello.
