Mrs. Covert is actively involved in her community. She has served as President of Beth Israel Sisterhood, as Board Member of the Congregation Beth Israel Sisterhood and of the New Orleans Chapter of Hadassah, and as Vice-President of Education at the Beth Israel Hebrew School.
